Land Acknowledgement - I understand that I am a settler on Treaty 7 Territory, and that the Land that I live, work and play on belongs to the Siksika Nation, Piikani Nation, the Kainai Nation including the Chiniki Bearspaw and Goodstoney Nations, and the people of Tsuut’ina Nation. Moh’kinstis also houses one of the Metis home offices. In the spirit of conciliation - reconciliation implies our relationships with Indigenous people were good to begin with -I live, work, and play on this Treaty Seven Land with the utmost respect and promise to never stop learning and unlearning, decolonizing my practice and working towards justice for Indigenous people on this Land.
We are all Treaty People.
